Spring is in the air, the academic and school year is drawing to a close, and iShorts is back again this year to bring you a competition featuring this year’s films from film schools! As is tradition, FAMU in Prague, UTB in Zlín, FAMO in Písek, and VŠMU in Bratislava have joined in, and you can look forward to four feature films whose creators we will undoubtedly be hearing a lot more about. Which of these young talents will win your vote?

MY SOUL SHALL BE HEALED (FAMU)

A misdiagnosis confronts a young doctor with a crucial life decision. Will he continue to play his father's game or defy his authority?

DRESSED IN PALE BLUE (UTB)

Vanesa and Viktor are enjoying moments of beautiful intimacy. Between embraces and kisses, they talk amidst the pale blue sheets and pillows. Right now, it’s just the two of them in the world. Together.

MY LITTLE GIRL (FAMO)

What if what we have called love since childhood was something completely different? Fifteen-year-old Aňa grows up in the shadow of her older sister Hana. She longs for adulthood, parties, love, and recognition. When Hana involuntarily takes her among her friends, it seems that Anja's dream is finally coming true. For the first time, she experiences the adult world—its freedom, first love, but also danger. However, the night that was supposed to be full of innocent fun and first love takes an unexpected turn. Trust turns to pain, and reality harshly reminds her that some experiences cannot be undone. All of this changes both little Aňa and her sister Hana.
